Rav Giri ji maharaj

Guru Purnima Mahotsav

Guru Purnima is one of the most revered and spiritually significant festivals in Sanatan Dharma. Celebrated on the full moon (Purnima) of the Hindu month of Ashadha (June–July), this day is dedicated to paying homage to the Guru — the divine teacher, guide, and light on the path of knowledge and liberation.

Guru Purnima marks the birth anniversary of Maharishi Ved Vyasa, the great sage who compiled the Vedas, authored the Mahabharata, and organized the spiritual wisdom of India into a structured form. In honor of his contribution, this day is observed as Guru Purnima across India and Nepal by followers of various spiritual paths — including Yoga, Vedanta, Jainism, and Buddhism.
